Music, tradition and festivities on the Costa Dorada
From 1 to 15 August 2026, Salou will be celebrating Las Nits Daurades, Salou’s summer town festival and one of the most important events on the Costa Dorada’s festival calendar. In 2026, there’s an added attraction: a total solar eclipse on 12 August. Concerts, family activities, folk culture, seafaring traditions, shows and fireworks will take place over several days in various venues across the town.
The programme is designed for a variety of audiences and offers the chance to discover some of the traditions that form part of Salou’s identity, a town closely linked to the Mediterranean and its seafaring heritage.

SAFETY RULES FOR THE “CORREFOC”
The Correfoc is a traditional spectacle featuring fire and pyrotechnics, so it is important to follow the rules:
- Do not encroach upon or obstruct the space of the groups performing in the Correfoc
- Wear old cotton clothing (synthetic fabrics burn very easily), long sleeves, a straw hat and scarves to cover your head and face.
- Do not play with the remains of pyrotechnic materials.
- Follow the instructions of the members of the fire troupe and law enforcement officers at all times.
