When do the weekly markets on the Costa Dorada take place?
The weekly markets on the Costa Dorada take place in the morning (9:00–14:00). These events attract a large number of locals. Here, you’ll find clothes, fruit, vegetables and local produce.
In addition, in Reus and Tarragona, you’ll also find a central market open from Monday to Saturday.

Cambrils Art Market
Held in the harbour area of Cambrils. An open-air venue where you can stroll around and discover unique pieces. From October to mid-June: The first two Sundays of the month from 10am to 2pm. From mid-June to the end of September: Saturdays from 6pm to midnight, except on ‘Fira Rebaixes’ Saturdays
Antiques market
In Tarragona, there are two places where you can buy antiques and items steeped in history. On Fridays from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm on Rambla Nova and on Sundays from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm near the Cathedral. In Reus, every Saturday from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm, you’ll find over 50 stalls at this market selling interesting items between Plaça de les Oques and Carrer de Mare Molas.
Espigón Market in Salou
It is one of the main summer markets in the area. It takes place every day from late May to September, from 7 pm to midnight. You’ll find 13 wooden stalls selling crafts, costume jewellery, macramé, clothing and gift items. As it’s situated near the sea, it’s a very popular market, especially on summer evenings, and is ideal for a stroll after dinner.
The Masía Catalana Night Market in Salou
Held every day from June to September, from 7 pm to midnight.
You’ll find 10 wooden stalls selling the finest handmade products (ceramics, leather, home décor) and products with a designation of origin, as well as a bar-kiosk.
All this in a natural setting surrounded by pine trees, with live performances on some evenings and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
Is there a market like La Santa Market on the Costa Dorada?
No, there isn’t a permanent market like La Santa Market, but there is a travelling market that goes around the province of Tarragona during the summer. You’ll find:
- Food trucks
- A Design market
- Concerts
- A Chill out area
- Workshops and family activities
The Nomad Festival Xperience website updates its programme seasonally. Currently, a stop in Torredembarra is scheduled for 22–26 July, but there may be further stops along the Costa Dorada.
